1by1 support for ALAC encoded m4a's ?

Theres is an ALAC-Plugin for BASS, which is supportet by 1by1.

Correct, BUT you have to disable in_mp4.dll (the Winamp plugin by Audiocoding.com) in case you have also installed it, because it will try to decode the MP4 file with ALAC content first which does not work, so you will get an error in 1by1 trying to play those files. You can prevent that by e.g. renaming in_mp4.dll to something else or simply deleting it from the program folder, as the bassalac.dll can decode MP4 files with AAC as well. You also need the main bass.dll in the 1by1 program folder, by the way, otherwise these M4A files will not be shown. Also important: don't pick the 64-bit versions of the BASS DLLs inside the ZIP download, but the usual 32-bit versions, as 1by1 cannot use them being a 32-bit application.

On a related note: the Spotify desktop app can also play local M4A files with ALAC content on Windows 10, because that OS comes with internal support for FLAC and ALAC, so WMP plays them, too, and even encodes with it when ripping cds. These local M4A files will also scrobble to Last.fm if you have enabled Spotify scrobbling on your Last.fm connected apps page.

Keeping input plugin DLLs (in_*.dll) is not recommended if BASS (and BASS Add-ons) play the file types fine. Winamp plugin support is outdated and does not support unicode filenames.
